Sketch Saturday our choice

The challenge for this week over on Sketch Saturday is to choose any sketch form the last 30. I have chosen Sketch 3...not sure why I did these colours, but fancied a change form my normal pink tones. Its Basic Grey Ambrosia papers, Anita's Cat stamp, then wording from the puter TFL xx oh btw Ive coloured the eyes in orange to tie it in better since the photo

Im such a plonker

In between doing bits and pieces today I thought Id find time to do a challenge. I had a litttle look earlier and opted for the Sketch Saturday, where the challenge is to choose one fo the 30 previous sketches and make a new card. I left the puter for a bit, came back and contonued scrolling through the older posts....or so i thought! Id actually looked through sketch FRIDAY, hence the card....so all in all a waste of time but hey ho I can ise it for my Aunty lol Have a good day all xxxx

Sketch Saturday Challenge

I had to make a card for a lady I know and was a bit stumped, but, after seeing the layout on here I decided to do this under the challenge for this week. I had to make it A5, so hope I haven't deviated too much. Ive used Basic Grey Euphoria range, Penny Black stamp and ribbon and gems. Great DT cards and great sketch Thank you. Hope you like mine xx

Hippo Christmas!

Every year, for about 4 years Ive had to make hippo themed cards, for various reasons, including Christmas. As you can imagine, it gets harder every year! thought id show you a few I've done, haven't got as many on file as i thought...saves you being bored ha ha, the first is this years effort! Bit disappointed

Back in October I bought the fabulous Martha Stewart lace doiley punch. I tried it a few times but the pattern had odd holes missing..DAFT I know. I thoguth I must be doign it wrong. Anyway me mate checked it with me and there is a fault with it. Ive mailed MS diret, waited to hear. I heard this week...As we havent heard anymore we are considering this matter SOLVED!!! Ie written back cos nothign has been done...so fed up! Wish Id gone to..no not specsavers hehe somewhere in UK Sulk sulk xx

Had a change

I needed to do a bit of a different card fro someone that is very arty and does distressed work. Well i had a bash, slightly more depressed than distressed, but, hey I tried lol I do love this face stamp though.Hopefully she will appreciate my 'art of trying' lol tfl mandi xx Oh just realised I added a stamp swirl to it after I took the photo!

New card NOT Christmas !!!

OK a non Christmas card lol. 21 year old surfer dude hehe The surfboard is hanging like a tag, and I blew up the wave bits off it to decorate the box lid. Plain n simple but colourful I thought..,and a change for snowflakes and glitter lol xx

Ive been to Tesco and purchased cards! 5 packs no less. Sorry guys but needs must, just running out of time. New week

Hi everyone, well I only have 12 more special cards to do before Christmas and 30 sort of plain ish A5 ones...making them sound quick lol Then about 10 for myself and Im done! I am banking on Weds/Thurs to finsih, then shopping Friday. Chnaged form Thursday as I have to take my Beau to the vet Thursday. She has a problem with her ear, she gets it all the time, so best I go before Crimbo. OK Im adding a couple of cards Ive thrown together, once again THANK heavens for FF sticker! Im waiting for BG to come to sort out our boiler, was due by 1 hmmmm Have a good day all, hope you are all warm and well xxxx

Oh what a beautiful morning!

Yes I am singing lol Its blowing a gale out there, pouring too! I have to whizz out this mornign too boo hoo. Off to tackle some of my mountain of ironing soon as Ive typed this...another boohoo! Im finally coming to the end of my card orders, shoul dbe done by Wednesday. Then I can do a few for myself, clean the house, more ironing, put the decs up, go shopping and and and You know the feeling right ha ha OK putting it off no longer, I will bid you all a good day, Keep warm and dry! xxxx

Had to make a few for couples, which I find harder, so the Penny Black cuddle in the Snow fits perfectly, I think. I went for quickness, so lal about the same, just different papers...all DCWV The Christmas Stack

I haven't been around as I am ploughing through my Christmas card orders. I've done about 250 so far. The rest I still have to do a 'specials' about 100 or more. Thats without any of my own. I can see mine not getting done and I'll be off to Marksies for some of theirs ha ha Im busting to take part in the challenges but just cant afford the time. roll on January! I will make a NYR and make a Christmas card for the challenge every week....hmmm maybe I shoudl make that 5 lol Keep warm all See you again soon xxxx
