Sad day today

My Dear Marj passed away this morning.

So sad but it was a blessing for her as she was very poorly

Will think of her and miss her everyday

She has been such a big part of my life for a lot of years

Im so very sad...my heart is breaking at the loss of her

Love you with all my heart Marj

Challenges Card

Morning all

Where did that weekend go!! lol

I have made this 'handbag' look card and matching box and it fits the 2 challenges

Totally Gorjuss which is

Flower

and Totally Papercrafts which is

Let's go Dotty

I hope there is enough dots for this challenge, if not please feel free to ignore me!

The card is a scalloped one from Craftwork cards, which I trimmed the sides down to give the shaped impression of a bag I love their cards they are such good quality and cut to precision!

I made my flowers from circles, cut a slit into the middle, then overlapped the edges at various depths.

The papers are all FAB Pink Petticoat, I do love pink and orange, especially against black and white!

OK so no stamping, but, I hope you like my little creation

Times are a bit tough at the moment, me dear friend Marj is very poorly and now at the point of palliative care, bless her. She is pretty comfortable and in no distress, so that's all I can hope for really

Challenge Card

Hello again!

Over on Keep it Simple challenge blog the theme this week is

Take a Leaf

Ive used a leaf from the FAB Stampin Set called

Autumn Splendor

this is a new set from the soon to be released new catalogue YAAY

[October 1st]

The set consists of 3 gorgeous leaves and a pair of acrons

Fabulous for all those autmn and mens cards!

The girls on Keep it Simple basically ask us to make a 'simple/minimal' card in perhaps 30 minutes..but this bit isnt crucial..well mine was only 20 mins! [OK I know you can tell ha ha]

I also heat embossed which I havent done for a million years!

Rather enoyed it :)

Simple black card, stamped leaf in black Stazon, then heat embossed with

copper embossing powder

OK enough of my rambling, off to see me Marj

Challenge Card

Hello and good morning to you all

Over on Totally Papercrafts thelovely girlies have a challenge this week is

Charming

I was commissioned to make this wedding card for a couple marrying in Las Vegas.

Now I know LV is full of the razzamataz, but, personally I don't like the look on my cards

so have subtly themed it!

The little charm is an Ace playing card, I have attached a small heart gem to it.

The little squares represent 'dice' and as they marry on the 9th, I

used perfect pearls to make 6 -2 - 1 for the little dice dot numbers [adding up to 9...

encase that wasn't obvious lol]
