Hellos everyone and a happy Sudnay from a snowy Isle of Wigth

Eevry year I have to make a card for a man to give his wife. she LOVES hippos so the spec is just christmas card with a hippo on it...somewhere!

Ive done such an assortment it;s so hard to come up with somethign different every year

But this is this years effort!

His face makes me chuckle :)

Hello everyone and
happy WOYWW

I wasn't able to join in for the last couple of weeks due to work load and boy did I miss it!

now, Im posting this today but I have to say I possibly wont be able to visit any/many of you

today, I promise to try later in the week...huge apologies

if you have made it to me Hello and Thank you so much for stopping by!

So my desk, is a bit placed, I have cards made yesterday ready for delivering

some other small ones Ive made waiting to be written and then on the far left are the place names Im making for a wedding taking place this Saturday.

I also have table names, table plan and post box matching the black and white with polka dot theme. It;s so striking I love it! I cannot wait to see the photographs from the big day!

Also can you see that foam tape How big is that roll hehe
I got 2 on ebay, they arrived and are 13 inches across. Think they are draught excluder, but work and are sticky! May last a while LOL

I thought Id also show you Belle and how she is often found in here, bless her she has her own doggie sofa, has taken over an armchair in the dining room but chooses to squash in that gap bent round the table leg hehe

Ive added glossy accents to the pink and orange baubles not sure if it shows or not!

An award

I have been lucky enough to receive an award form 2 lovely talented ladies..

Hope over and see these ladies if you haven't already, they are super talented!

On receiving this award I have to tell you 8 facts about me..

Struggled with this cos Im so not interesting!

Do pop over to the ladies as they have far better facts than mine!

OK here goes:

1} I love pink...specially baby pink

2] I love animals better than humans sometimes!!

3] Went on QE2 for our honeymoon in 1998 and caught the cruising bug!

4] Passed my driving test after my 13th lesson!

5] Favourite place in the whole world is Monte Carlo/Monaco
6] I have a HUGE passion for shoes, I have about 100 pairs [some just for the pleasure of looking at as they are a bit high to go out in as Im 5'8" already!
7] not overly sporty but I love watching golf
8] I believe in fairies, just wish they would come and do my housework!
