It;s our half birthday on "Less is More" Gosh where did that 6 months go!

I'm still suffering with my tooth. I'm almost at the end of my tether to be honest.

I'm on my 5th day of Penicillin and it's made no difference. 

Dentist rang me today to see how it is! He has booked me in for 12.30 Monday

Dreading what he will have to do. I say the root canal is over filled as I can feel it right up to my nostril.

The pain when I touch just under my nose is excruciating!! Hey ho, onwards and upwards

far more worse off than me

Less is More Week 25

Good morning

I was de to go to optician for 9oc today, but, I have to take Belle to the vet instead, she has a cut on her 'knee' About inch long but deep as far as I can tell, Kind opens a bit as I try to look, bless her.

She does NOT like that! Our vet only there 9-10 and my extra eye test was 9, but, me Belle is more important!

*** Update....
Bell is ok, shaved and stapled, poor little poppet. She was very brave! Vet had to lay on his back on the floor to get to it, neither were overly impressed ha ha ***

I have Astigmatism and Corneitis Nothing too serious, rugby ball shaped eyes rather than round and then the cornea [the clear covering of the eye] is too thin, so they check it with a special camera every year. Does mean I have rubbish vision particularly in right eye.

Hello everyone

Much better day today, weather wise, we've even had sun for most of the day!

Really quick post from me, been out shopping unexpectedly this afternoon and now have to run around like a blue-arsed fly!

Was asked to make this card for a friend to give his girlfriend

Spec was...she likes Aqua and I call her Funny Bird lol
She's a bit of a classy chic, so I think she will like it

Card bans from Craftwork cards is 8x8
Papers are printed from Pink Petticoat
I love this kind of thing as it sues up all the scraps. Well not all of them of course

Don't think I'll live long enough to use them all up ha ha

What a rainy day again here. mind you now its gone 4pm it;s brightening up!

I had to make a quick Engagement card, only had half an hour!

Sentiment is computer generated.Scriptina  and Juice font. 

Hearts are Sizzix Original red die, embossed with Swiss dots. Flowers are X Cut punches and Leaf branches are Crealies.

My Lack of Blogging

Hello

what a horrible day, well summer come to that!

So chilly here and gloomy and raining!

I wanted to post what's been going on with me of late.

My lack of blogging, enthusiasm and mojo has been for a reason.

We have an African Grey parrot, Charlie.
Steve [hubby] became allergic in 2006 and we were told to keep charlie in another room. So we do, he has not contact other than whistling and singing to him from afar! Basically Steve's allergy has got a little worse and we both went to the Dr fearing the inevitable.

Dr explained that Steve's allergy could worsen over the years, or worst scenario he could have contracted Psittacosis! Bloods were taken 3 weeks ago and Steve phoned and HE IS CLEAR! To say we are pleased is an understatement. We can also try a homeopathic option, so will possibly go down that route too now we know it;s nothing more serious!

I do have a place for him to be re-homed, but we have had him 13 years this year, he is such a big part of our daily life [as Scoopy will testify!] I'm completely heartbroken, thinking that we may have to do so. We are going to check with GP next week, get his opinion on what to do. Obviously Steve's health comes first, but, its so tough. He speaks so well, all in my voice! Joins in conversations, says things in the right place.

"Love you Gorge" "See ya later" "Bye" "Wanna bath" "C'mon Spurs" "No Gunners" "Wanna strawberry" to name but a few.

Fingers crossed we won't have to say goodbye to our beloved Charlie, but, at least half the worry that Steve's had this serious disease has gone!

We it certainly isn't all that sunny today, hope our summer hasn't gone already!

It;s week 24 over on "Less is More" Can't quite believe we are almost at the half year mark!

This week is Theme week and it's

Dunnno why the colours won't pick up properly
The flower is coral, the centre pearl of the brad is aqua as is the daisy section behind

We had a FAB time for Mum's birthday last week. The weather was fantastic. much better than this week!

Kaboodle Challenge Card

We have recovered from the weekend, Mum had a wonderful birthday Lots of people made so much effort for us, it was so special

My card is a quick and easy one and I'm entering it onto Kaboodle Doodles as their challenge this week calls for

Use Those Scissors

I just cut out a couple of the wisteria from the paper, it;s K&Co juliana, no longer made I don;t think. I love this paper! The font is Avalon.
The edges of the side panels are glittered as are the wisteria branches.

"Less is More" Week 22

Good morning

Well it's July already and we are onto week 22 at
"Less is More"

Being the first week of the month it;s colour week

This time it;s 

SHADES of BLUE
Hmmm not really my fav of colours. Isn't it funny that things don't flow when you aren't fussed on the colour! Its my Mum's fav though. I had also managed to skip a week with my cards. Chrissie and I have our cards made well in advance, of course, but, I;d managed to miss this week until the last minute..whoops!
